Introduction
Library is considered as the centre for information storage and retrieval.It performs a supplementary and complementary role in teaching-learning and research activity. The library is situated on the ground floor and caters to the needs of the college students and staff. The Library has 6881 books, 16 periodicals and 6 newspapers. The college library subscribes to N-LIST (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure of Scholarly Content) of UGC INFLIBNET to access e books and e journals. N-LIST is a college component of e-ShodhSindhu consortium with access to 6000+ e-journals , 1,64,300+ e-books and 6,00,000 e-books through National Digital Library. The library is fully computerized using Koha Open Source Library Software.

ACTIVITES OF THE LIBRARY
Book Exhibition is organized in the Department of Library on the occasion of National Library Week (14th – 20th November) A wide range of books were exhibited to encourage and inculcate reading habits in the students and make them aware of the varied collection available in the library.
Books exhibited include books from fiction, biographies, dictionaries, competitive examination books and general collection in English, Telugu and Hindi languages.

Department of Library conducted an online General Knowledge Quiz on the occasion of 53rd“National Library Week” ofIndia. The Quiz was open to the students and faculty members from 18th to 20th November, 2020.
The quiz consisted of 20 multiple choice questions each carrying 5 marks (Total 100 Marks) .An e-certificate was issued to the participants who scored 40 % and above
Orientation programme is organised at the beginning of the year for the first year students. The students are informed regarding the library collection, services and a few basic rules and regulations of the library.
